This weather information is gathered using an Oregon Scientific WMR-968 weather
station, and is collected by Virtual
Weather Station V12.04 software. Click here for a graph of the weather over the
past 5 days, courtesy of the APRSwxnet.
Through this net, data from the weather station gets integrated into the U.S. mesonet, created by the FSL (Forecast Systems Laboratory) in
Boulder, CO, which is part of the National
Weather Service (NWS). This data gets QC'ed and then input into the running
of the forecast model known as the RUC2.
